Simpulicity
What happens when simplicity is multiplied?
Exploring history, structure, scale and the hidden patterns that emerge when simple things interact.
How Relationships Create Complexity The origins of complexity starts in pairs Why do complex systems emerge from simple rules? What if complexity isn't something added, but something that naturally emerges from relationships? In this Short, I explore how the number of relationships between entities grows explosively as systems become larger. Welcome to Simpulicity โ where we strip ideas back to their simplest primitives to understand how complexity begins. #Simpulicity #Complexity #Relationships #Emergence #SystemsThinking #Science #Philosophy
Mercury and the Caloris Impact Basin โ often cited as one of the largest planet / impact events in the solar system โ can you imagine what this must have done Mercuryโs orbit?
Why do galaxies spiral? Using our solar system as a proxy: gravity fall of 1/rยฒ orbital velocity falls off 1/โr. Scale that up to millions of stars, and the spiral is a natural law of motion
Planetary orbits arenโt razor ellipses โ theyโre like pooh sticks in a river.
Perihelion & aphelion set the banks, ฯ sets the harmonic channels, and planets drift within those bounds.
Mercury, Venus, and Earth show the structure clearly.
If p=mv defines momentumโฆ
Where:
m = mass
v= velocity
then why donโt the planets obey it?
Left chart = โMomentum (p = mv): FAILโ
Right chart = โNewtonโs 1/โr: WORKS โ no mass involvedโ @@physorg_com
STS Shuttle Re-entry Simulator Results
Built this full re-entry simulation from scratch in Jupyter.
Each panel evolves in sync โ velocity, atmospheric density, gravitational jerk, and altitude.
This is what real energy exchange looks like.
