@maddiecholette This was made because the Jays wanted black in their logo. The LA Raiders were one of the top selling jerseys at the time because the jerseys were primarily black. They launched this with the new mascot Ace - they wanted a more aggressive mascot - like the Raptor.

@jimmykorderas I worked for the JumboTron department at that time. The Dome hired an outside cleaning company to pick up after the event. They estimated that there were over 35,000 signs that were left in the stadium.
