@jaymesrosenthal There’s some good general trading rules in there but the moral of the story is that a trader is only as good as his ability to FOLLOW the rules, not just know them.
@jaymesrosenthal Why preemptively fade an unknown timeline on the 1-3 months effects of the war instead of just waiting for the market to signal when the escalation is close to being over?
@Globalflows I’ve seen too much sobing over a screenshot that says we didn’t have month over month numbers for last print…. Because we didn’t have data 🤣
No crying in the casino
@BlacklionCTA The chart you posted is month over month changes… how would they have month over month with no October data? My screenshot is from the actual BLS report… we can argue if these numbers are accurate but to say it’s missing is incorrect
@taobanker Ok so the numbers are all there. The chart with the “missing” data is a table reflecting changes from preceding months so of course there would not be Nov data for most collected categories since there was no Oct data to compare it to
@taobanker I know you’re referring to the table with all the blank sections for Oct and Nov, but this is in the BLS report below that table… I don’t know if these numbers are part of the aggregate and why they weren’t posted when all the Nov data seems to be there
@GordonJohnson19 Oh it’s because the table you posed was adjusted from the past month… so no Nov change from past month because there was no October data
@GordonJohnson19 The actual BLS report has the breakdown for November food, shelter, healthcare. It’s not entirely clear why those wouldn’t be reported in the aggregate percent changes table though or if they are included in the final number
