I think the console was designed with max 4mb rom in mind: limited asset size, fast access, and the MegaDive filling part of the screen
@Adamusiqueu@Suumash A l'échelle du pays aussi, la france se comporte comme si on avait encore de l'influence à l’international; comme quand on exportait fort la mode, la culture et la bouffe, c'est fini: on s'est concentré sur les valeurs 'traditionalistes' alors que ce sont des univers changeants.
@Adamusiqueu@Suumash Les français sont des connards. Pour de vrai. On est très présent à l'étranger dans tous les spots touristiques (combo salaire descent + congés payés) et une bonne parti d'entre nous se comportent *très mal*, v'la l'image de merde.

@matteusbeus@KanonZombie That would have been IMPOSSIBLE in the 90s. Not that I'm a great coder: this is only C, there is no SH2 or 68K assembly because C is the best I can do. But I can compile and test in a matter of seconds. The back and forth would have taken them hours.
@matteusbeus@KanonZombie Can't do much about the background, that's the bandwidth between the MegaCD and the MegaDrive, but after a whole day of work, I ended up here: two less frames, and no more Chris polygons floating around.
