@JustinTrudeau This would result in an effectively discounted price for families relative to investors, helping address affordability for families and those planning on actually living in the house.
@JustinTrudeau How about implementing a tax on purchases of investment properties? If you are purchasing a house as a principal residence you are exempt, but any secondary property you pay the tax.
@kissmypolitcass@pornfartin@R11RT@JustinTrudeau It's the same reason doctors recommend eating healthy, or not smoking. The idea is to help people not get sick. Also, the unvaccinated are more likely to end up in hospital and ICU, which puts stress on the hospital system.
@Philmor61042506@WBrettWilson 95+%of people getting very sick and dying are unvaccinated.
If you had terrible chest pains wouldn't you go to the doctor? I'd they told you you needed triple bypass surgery or kidney dialysis you would do it wouldn't you? How is this any different?
@randyhillier Randy did you read the article?
159 people in Illinois have died due to COVID-19 or complications after being fully vaccinated. That figure equates to 2.3% of COVID-19 deaths in the state since Jan. 1, officials said.
So 97.7% of people that have died were unvaccinated.
Agreed 100% @JoshMatlow. @JohnTory I am disgusted beyond words that you sent your paid thugs to beat up marginalized people, using my tax dollars. You've made me complicit in your obscene display of power and the use of force.
@neiltyson@neiltyson my 8 year old son asked me how much lighting weighs.
I have an undergrad in physics but I'm struggling with this one... There's must be some mass but there's the air and the electricity and I'm scratching my head. Help!
@gmbutts 1. Bring on my 2nd dose of AZ
2. The peeps talking about the good ol days of smoking in the car are fd up. My dad died of lung cancer because his parents smoked in the house (he was a non smoker)
@kbish44 @JustinWells11 @Steve_Byra@drmwarner@CharlieAngusNDP@ONgov Wouldn't it have been good to have taken some real sick days when you needed them rather than go in sick?
@dilemmanorton@QUESTCanada@SethDKlein Emma congrats on making tht move to being a self employed consultant. I have learned more in the last 4 years than I have the rest of my career. It can be challenging but is extremely rewarding and I wish you tremendous success. Enjoy the journey!
