The silence from our South African government, especially DIRCO, about Julius Malema’s visa being denied by the UK is seriously worrying. Julius Malema isn’t just anyone he’s an elected Member of Parliament and the leader of the EFF, the fourth biggest political party in our country.
This quietness makes you wonder what’s going on, are they ignoring it on purpose? It’s starting to feel like they don’t care about our pride or our democracy.
Minister Ronald Lamola needs to wake up and do something fast. He must call the UK commissioner to South Africa and demand some straight answers. If we let this slide, it’s like giving other countries permission to block our leaders or even us ordinary South Africans for no good reason. That’s a dangerous road to go down it sets a bad example for the future.
Malema’s job as an MP and a big voice for many South Africans should be protected, not swept under the rug.

Im @ Leratong Hospital waiting for a file. Takes them more than an hour to find it while they have sent me a reminder for my appointment.
Maybe they want us to pay them.
