@PatsKarvelas I struggle with having him promote a First Nations' voice when he's lent his face and voice to excessively advertising online gambling. Surely a conflict of interest. #alwayswasalwayswillbe#FirstNations
TVeeder fail? from Guardian news, Minister Mark Bailey speaking, "I know that bus services having to be rescheduled and De Werted in that Brisbane area so itโs important to be forearmed when you go out." #brisbanefloods#MinisterBailey#bneflood
@Fremean @bne_lordmayor Dam levels increased so rapidly - within 12hrs - there's not always time to plan when it takes 24hrs for Wivenhoe releases to reach the Brisbane CBD and surrounds.
@MrFulovit @bne_lordmayor @R_DAlessandro9 Because Brisbane is built on a floodplain. It will always happen to some extent. Ongoing development ensures flooded areas continually change as hydrology is altered. Like building cross-river tunnels, Legacy Way etc. The water has to go somewhere.
@DianaBurgess58 @AnnastaciaMP Because you can't eat and drink with a mask on - and people are generally non-compliant - you only have to look at the football final
@FedUpMomInMN@sayers_molly@sassyausgirl @NototyrannyNOW A VAERS report is not a formal reporting mechanism - definitely not in Australia. An adverse event can range from a sore arm, headache, malaise through to hospitalisation & death. There needs to be a causal relationship between the vaccination & event, not just correlation.
@sayers_molly@sassyausgirl @NototyrannyNOW So you would know that other vaccinations have the same frequency of adverse events. It's just that we don't vaccinate tens of millions of people with the same vaccine over a 12 month period - concentrating all of the events to a 12 month period.
@roo_mint@Fi83172898@sayers_molly Hospitals and medical professionals in Australia have a legal duty to report. They can lose their registration if they don't.
@SongbirdTam_83 @Bradley93038424 Catching COVID if you're unvaccinated is a very high probability. Being vaccinated reduces that probability significantly. We are also talking about a VERY rare side effect - such that it's the only case reported so far - worldwide.
@CillerIlona @SongbirdTam_83 @Bradley93038424 The virus is carried in the blood stream, hence the reason you get fatigue, muscle soreness, headaches etc. It goes all over the body. It targets the same cells as the vaccine.
@SongbirdTam_83 @Bradley93038424 And if she didn't get vaccinated and caught COVID-19 the same switch would be flicked. She already had a history of ulcers and Epstein Barr virus. I'd roll the dice with a vaccination any day before taking the risk of catching COVID with no vaccine protection.
@karp3_dm @wheeziemungo@SharnelleVella The media may not report them because they either didn't happen, or weren't causally related to vaccination. Potential heart conditions from COVID-19 on the other hand, are very real, and more common.
@Bradley93038424 @SongbirdTam_83 You missed the part where it says they are more common in people who have COVID-19. She also has a family history of ulcers.
@AlanaCue@Bradley93038424 No, it's not herpes, which is herpes simplex virus. These are more like an ulcer. However, they are a noted side effect of COVID-19.
