@49ersSportsTalk Any trade for Crosby makes no sense. Niners are older than the league average, which means if they don't get a ring this year- they have to tear down and start over. And why would Crosby go to another rebuild?
@FoN9ne It most certainly does. This team finds a way to win even when their front office does everything in their power to mess that up. Also remember that nobody in this photo could walk without a brace, boot, or cane at the time of last season's playoffs.
Does Matt Barrow provide a list of teams that would trade for this train wreck? Never mind his latest posts- he is on a terrible contract that just started; has taken well over a year to return from an injury; has legal issues stemming from an inability to navigate a motor vehicle outside of reasonable speed limits. SF can't trade this guy for a vending machine at this point.
A release several months ago would have resulted in the cap hit taking one full season. By waiting until 6/1, the team can split the cap hit over two years equally. The fact that Ayiuk is still a Niner now is just bullying by the Niners- which is something I am here for. BA did not earn a release on time, and did not earn the salary that was voided by his inability to follow team instructions. And not just the wrong-colored shorts, either...
No question BA created this by failing to report during his knee rehab. He was in breach of his contract, and the voided contract is proof. That being said, this is the worst FO in the NFL for a team that can manage a winning record. Their handling of this has been public and atrocious. Everyone is losing here, but the Niners get to keep some money.
@WoolseyMJ@Coach_Yac@1067theFan This is the worst FO in football for a team that can get a winning record. They were not hesitant to extend him, however. They were hell-bent on letting Deebo walk and ignored the signs that BA just wanted to loaf.
