Today marks the start of our #DontGetWrecked campaign, where we and @DerbyshireFRS team up to tackle drink and drug-drivers on our roads.
We're launching it with a short film, Driving Home for Christmas, which follows three people whose worlds collide in a drink-drive smash.
‘We’re better, more intelligent & more sophisticated than people of the past because we simply know more.’
I’m not having that I’m afraid. Here’s some 1000-year-old images by Hildegard of Bingen to challenge it. Scientist, musician, linguist- she was incredible! Good day to you.
We must remember that tonight was a briefing and is intended to be brief. Tomorrow is the day we will hear more information. Step away from your laptops/computers and spend the rest of this evening doing something you love.
I never knew @jackwhitehall could sing like this - absolutely beautiful. He’s very easily distracted though. Once he sorts that out he’s got a chance. Jack thank you so much for doing this and entertaining all #thecroonersessions
No decision has been made on a timetable for re-opening schools. Schools remain closed until further notice, except for children of critical workers and the most vulnerable children.
Schools will only re-open when the scientific advice indicates it is the right time to do so.
So we have another three weeks of #lockdown. As a bit of light relief I have made this dramatisation of how it might feel for the #NHSheroes once it finally lifts and we can get together to kick #coronavirus in the nuts once and for all. Like before it gets snapped
8 MILLION POUNDS!!!
I’m speechless.....
This amount of money will help the #NHS beyond what we ever thought was imaginable.
Thank you to everyone that’s helped me get there.
