@MrsMc_teaches The black folder looks great for conflict resolution, do you have a copy of the cards? If not I’ll make my own, it’s a great resource! 🥰
@SENDMattersUK Do you know where I could find training for The Five a Day principle; scaffolding and support in class, for the staff at my Primary school? Looking to have someone in to relay the message of how important these principles are for our SEN (and all) children.
@MrBoothY6 Inclusivity means scaffolding for all, that way no one stands out and everyone has access to what they need. A key message im trying to spread as a new SENCo. Side note, many children with an SEN need in our school are not “low ability.” It frustrates me when people assume that.
@surreyteacher When I was in Year 1, they loved the leakproof bag and could have a go independently. Storm in a glass is great, so is marshmallow shooters for experimenting with forces. I’ll have links for them somewhere I’m sure 😂
What does a SEND-first approach look like (via @teachertapp ) Always brilliant to see my great friend and inspiration @AidanSevers being todays #BlogOfTheDay on @TeacherTapp https://t.co/eLLFeUfD8I
@neuroteachers My response would be to respond “good morning (his name) and then continue the register. Then do the same everyday, he will probably respond the same way, but good for him to hear the responses from other children. He is waiting his turn and responding to his cue, so that’s good!
@senresourceblog@SENDMattersUK@BloomsburyBooks This looks so good! I’m starting a new role next week, as the SENCO at the primary school where I teach! Wish it was available sooner 🙈 Any tips, please send them my way! 🥰
