@arianek I completely understand. I believe I saw something on your post about Sjogren's, am I right? I've received all my medical records from back to 1993. In 2010 I tested positive for Sjogren's BUT not one Dr ever mentioned it!!!! I'm about to go have 7 pieces of my tongue cut out

@charlottehvrn I'm not sure about your state but Palliative Care is actually great. Their goal is to get you functioning and they can treat you with opioids. They fly above the radar.

@DrPlantel Define expert please. I mean I know the word but allllll the Dr's I see just want to keep passing to another. That's NOT an expert. I'm sure that's not what you're talking about but 25 years of this severe pain with no diagnosis in sight is ridiculous

@DrPlantel I'm gaining a horrible amount of weight because I'm bedridden with severe pain. When I had my medication I was able to not only exercise but function to the fullest. Now it's painful to use the restroom, cook, clean. Ok anything that requires walking

@DrPlantel Another great post. My previous Dr. Wanted me to take supplements that would cost $483.09 per month. I'm unable to work due to pain. Why wouldn't insurance companies pay for the very supplements your body is born with and needs to function instead of all the synthetic ones?

@ValaAfshar @GavinPrestonMD When you're in severe pain the pain ABSOLUTELY consumes your every thought! I can barely form a sentence because the pain is in my face. I try VERY hard to control breathing, I try to stay calm, I pray.The pain controls so much! when my pain is managed my thoughts are as well.

@SecKennedy 100%. I'm living proof. Been in severe pain for 25 years now. In 2020 they took my pain medication from me and I lost my job, marriage, home....instantly. I just FINALLY was approved for Disability. I HATE not working. The reason they deemed me unable to work was PAIN. Grrrr

@danaherbert Many people will test positive for the ANA. They should absolutely follow that up with the SSA, SSB..
Also, PLEASE ask your PCP to order a Cytokine Panel. Most don't know what it is which is funny because anyone with inflammatory or autoimmune issues should absolutely have this

@DEAHQ Why not drop them off at pharmacies that have turned away patients in need of pain medication? Shortage, FIXED!
