Wow, what a night of rain! The skies opened up in a big way over Kansas City last night. KCI Airport recorded 4.78" of rain, and much of the metro saw 2" to nearly 11" (western Olathe area that really needed some rain, but maybe not that much), with KC clearly the bullseye on our rainfall totals maps.
It was beneficial rainfall—until it was too much. Some areas experienced flash flooding, water rescues, and now, well… you’re going to have to mow.
