@bookingcom Thanks for the reply however we have already contact customer services by telephone and had a CSA response confirming we should have only been asked to pay 750 - we would like to be contacted by someon who can deal

then it came to our attention that previous guests had left comments stating they didn't see their deposits again after the stay and that iwas a scam so not only are you scamming people you're in breach of the terms and don't even have the decency to respond and put it right!?
