@AmandaMGoetz I’ve had it done twice on the NHS in the UK and once in Dubai. No pain relief on the NHS, but out here my OBGYN numbed my cervix with local anesthesia and gave my a heating pad to keep on my abdomen for cramps. It made a huge difference - still uncomfortable but I didn’t see ✨

@abbyyoungpowell In my experience, this is very typical when it comes to living abroad for the first time (especially one doesn’t speak the language.) I spent a summer in Seoul in Uni and hated it. I ended up going back again for a 2nd and 3 time, and had a completely different experience.
