My class is about to start in a couple of minutes so I can't elaborate, but inkle has had a huge influence on how I approach theatre-making. Excited to play this!

Gave students the entire period just to make art that they enjoy or want to explore. Fears included that they'll see it as a waste of time and do other things. Instead, students are dancing, singing, doing crafts, sketching, making theatre -- it's delightful.
I know I tend to skew melancholy, but last night's episode was a surprise even for me. Today, I read about post-dissertation blues. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one.
I didn't want to say it aloud yesterday, hence the cryptic Dobby GIF. But I was able to successfully defend my dissertation yesterday and now have to grow into a title that's as perplexing to me as "adult." Still, I'm relieved and grateful to everyone who helped me along the way.
Apparently they released a new song collection of CLAMP Campus Detectives. Teared up while singing along to Maaya Sakamoto's "Gift" out of sheer nostalgia. Never thought I'd say this because teenage angst and all, but those were simpler times.

Because congestion, my ability to smell has been reduced to 30%. I can still taste things, thankfully. I've mostly been sleeping.
Quarantining is lonely and the door I can open -- social media -- reminds me that the world is burning. I wonder if we can even claim good bones.
I finally got COVID. So far, seems mild. (Fever done, congestion, sore throat, fatigue.) More worried for our eleven year old Labrador who got diagnosed, also today, with arthritis. He's having a hard time moving. I can't help because quarantine. He's a good boy.
@jus_pena I had a good experience at Art of Scent in Shang. The salesperson would do the spraying on the test strip, but the sales talking was kept to a minimum. That said, I found buying decants off Shopee/Lazada the least socially stressful when it comes to exploring perfume.
