I think the show wants you to root for them and I get why people do, I probably would have at one point. But now I hate it. lol. It’s so dysfunctional and frustrating to watch two adults in this constant cat and mouse game, especially when Olivia has better options (like Edison!)

I remember loving the show Scandal years ago when it was first on. I started rewatching it and it’s still pretty good, but tbh the Fitz/Olivia relationship makes it borderline unwatchable IMO.

It has nothing to do with the performances. Both actors are great. I think it’s just cause I really can’t stand Fitz as a character … he’s controlling and clingy and pushy and it frustrates me how he regularly puts his obsession with Olivia over his duty as POTUS.
