Couldn’t be prouder of our Y6 cohort. They performed our Y6 play ‘Peter Pan’ with such effort, confidence and showed how much fun they were having! Soooo proud of them!🌟🌟🌟🌟 @parsonstreet
I like this question, I can see it being used with different ages of children to model/draw out the skills of working systematically to find multiple possible answers. Could easily chop the clue off at the bottom.
Year 6 have been busy all week making their air raid shelters for our topic ‘A Child’s War’. We used saws and wood to create the frame and then painted the cardboard. Take a look! @Cornerstonesedu@parsonstreet
Love Small Difference Questions for really drawing children's attention to the affect of a little change. Great for drawing out meaningful conversations
❤️ Loved this perimeter problem solving lesson using Numicon ❤️
Task:
- Draw as many 4 sided shapes as possible.
- It has to have a perimeter of 18.
- How many shapes can you make?
We then explored the same with a given perimeter of 24... can anyone spot the square? 🤔
Loving learning about our topic, ‘Hola Mexico’ in 6LM! Today, in Geography, we looked at the physical and human features of the country 🇲🇽 Physical features are below and human features are on top (on tracing paper) @parsonstreet@Cornerstonesedu
6LM are still in the lead in the @TTRockStars#rockout2020 competition🎸🤟🏼 and will keep their #no1 title and TTRS champion belt proudly at the top of their door... however all is to play for as each class still has 2 days left to earn points! Who will be triumphant?!
