It was a privilege today to gather with @WittonMS for their Remembrance Field Drum Head Service this afternoon. A profound moment as the whole school gathered to mark this day. Respectful & thoughtful pupils…it gives great hope for the future!
Armistice Day, or Remembrance Day as it's also known, marks the very day that World War One ended in 1918. We hold a two-minute silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month to remember those who have died in any conflict. #RemembranceDay
All Souls’ Service, (today) Sunday 6th November. 4pm.
St Andrew’s Church. We gather this afternoon for a reflective service as we remember those we ‘love but see no longer.’
All are welcome. There will be an opportunity to light a candle to honour those we are remembering.
