I strongly recommend education, but if you need a Masters to get a job that you could do with a high school education then you are pricing some people out of the job market

The over-reliance on credentials (1) reduces weight on life experience, which I think is a better indicator of success and (2) has led to education inflation so young people are forced to get a $$$ MA/PhD for jobs that don’t need it

@jkenney And it’s even worse than this. They have said projects can avoid this morass if THEY decide it’s in the “national interest”. So project proponents have to choose between an impossible process or sucking up to the govt. If this isn’t a recipe for corruption I don’t know what is.

In my town there are no walk in clinics and it is a 2+ year wait to get a family doctor (hypothetically… who knows what it is in real life).

Someone saw an injustice that they thought should be fixed, promoted their policy, and others agreed with it. That's it.
