This might be the closest thing college lacrosse has ever gotten to an NFL Films level production. 📽️
Ben Heske, Angelo Scolari, and the Princeton media team have risen the bar on what lacrosse media can be:
@LizRobertshaw@NCAALAX Now let’s get the women’s DIII and DII games all there too! Would be such a fun environment to have all the top teams in the sport in one venue supporting each other. @NCAALAX@IWLCA
@ktdefeo @PhilButtafuoco@NCAALAX@GilletteStadium Let’s get DIII and DII women’s in the mix too! We all love to watch and celebrate the sport. Make it easy for fans to support and watch all the big games!!!
There has been ZERO coverage from @Inside_Lacrosse and @ILWomen on the DIII Women’s Championship, which happened today at 12pm. Middlebury dominated the game after an undefeated season and deserves at least a congratulations post/tweet if nothing else. DO BETTER. @middwlacrosse
THIS - the fact that DIII teams are required to play back to back games in the national tournament is an insult to these student athletes and all their hard work. Make the right call @NCAALAX and get this fixed for next year.
This seems like a great time to also advocate/hope for the Division III championship weekend to be CHANGED to support the health and wellness of the players/coaches/support staff.
D3 women’s lacrosse are STILL having to play BACK-TO-BACK, THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT!
@B_Krol @ConnorWilsonLAS From IL: “Starting in 2020, DIII shifted from a two-region system (North and South) to a five-region system. The biggest complication [is how they] will view a higher-ranked team in a less competitive region compared to a lower-ranked team in a more difficult region.”
