I love doing this stuff that I do because I get to find new cool places not just across the country but sometimes right in my own DMV area.

Today I went to Hank Dietle’s Tavern in Rockville, MD. A tavern on the side of the road with an old sign that says “cold beer” on it.

This 75 Year Old legendary dive bar was the first bar in Montgomery County to get a liquor license—their license number is One.

It burned down a few years back and they built it right back up. it’s a dive bar with live music pretty much every night.

Awesome spot.

Asked Spencer Carbery about Alex Ovechkin possibly being willing to take on a smaller role this season. This was part of his answer:

"He genuinely wants to win so as we improve the forward group, if now all the sudden we've got two more 30-goal scorers and that means O plays a minute or two minutes less of 5-on-5 and we're a better team he's going to raise his arm and go 'Yes!' I love this. Because he wants to win.

And it's no different on the power play as well."

He added part of the plan with the improved depth will be to keep guys fresher and play several guys a little less as the season goes on. Tom Wilson could also see a little less TOI.
