@metroadlib if you changed any meds around that time... talk to your doctor. i was once on a med with the known side effect of weight loss. turned out that was because of the unknown (to me) side effect that a lot of foods tasted like death. including seltzer water. no fun.

@Radish_Research my union, sag-aftra, has a hybrid system. our boards (national/local) are 1m1v as are 2 of 3 national officers (president & secretary treasurer). our #2 position (executive vice president) is elected by our delegates (& board). maybe you ONLY mean the #1 slot...in which case...nm
