nor would she think to use at the till. Is there any support or workaround you could consider in store? She likes her walks up there and her independence. But I wonder if this is wider within this demographic, almost technologied out of lower prices?

@sainsburys hi, I was in your store with my elderly mother yesterday. She pops in most days for bits and bobs and to get out. She was shocked when she saw the prices on nectar and the difference to non nectar. I’ve put nectar on her phone but she can’t remember how to use it

@jet2tweets empty EDI airport aside from our flight which landed 02.13. Plane stopped furthest from terminal meaning buses. An hour and still no suitcases. Everyone waiting around gone 3am. Not good end to a holiday. Very frustrating.

@TheStrokeAssoc hi. A volunteer made his way into my elderly parents house the other day. Via the ring doorbell I went round and sorted. They tried to fob off but he was persistent. Should it not be policy to not enter elderly houses? V uncomfortable situation.

So was running today, marathon training. One part of my meticulously planned route is a “risk”. Remote between villages 3 mins max up hill and out of sight. Bear in mind I dread this part…

As for me, this is a planned not good element. Running into traffic until path on other side available, literally meters away when guy in car gestures I should be over there on the path. Literally never ever enters his mind that this is my preferred route.

Man in car passed and gestures I should be OVER THERE. Never enters his mind that I chose to be here rather than there. That this is my choice, my risk assessed choice. That he just has to see me and drive round. I was ready to jump onto verge and risk the old ankles.

and plan for all eventualities….running along road rather than path next to bushes is priority in my mind. On way back man sitting on bench with dog on this route (nice thing to do and nice to be able to do in remote area) so I duck over to other side of road
