I grew up in a poor area, you would take $250k at full tax rate any day of the week. At that salary you can afford the tax accountant that finds loopholes. And that’s what they’ll do again.

@dick_mojo @NoelWhittaker That’s a regressive tax, which punishes low income earners. Earn $50k with the current system you pay ~$5.7k in tax. 25% flat you pay $12.5k. Only above $150k does it work. Median Aus salary is ~$81k. ABS - 91% of workers <$150k. Political suicide.

People keep saying we should have never given up physical media. Well physical media and places to buy them still exist. Instead of giving up and succumbing to streaming. Go out and find them. Buy physical again. These places may be few, but you have the power to help them grow.
