The police were not there. The government was not there. Ordinary people saved that man's life.

Over twenty years of running campaigns that ended up massively oversubscribed, with more buyers than spots and customers we had to turn away, I've found four ideas behind almost every single one of them.
1. Demand must exceed supply.
2. Signals come before sales.
3. People need warming up before they buy.
4. And eventually you need to create a clear moment to act.
Here's the catch.
They only work together.
You can't cherry-pick one or two and expect oversubscription to follow. The businesses I see struggle the most are the ones that pick the part that feels comfortable, like collecting leads, and skip the parts that feel harder, like creating tension or making a real moment to act.
Run a campaign with all four working in sequence and the dynamics of your business change.
Run it with one or two and you're back to making a wage, wondering why the campaign that ticked all the marketing boxes didn't actually move the needle.
