Buffalo is attacked all the time. With lead water, expressway pollution, food deserts, union busting, housing costs, homelessness, poverty. But there’s never a “natural reaction” to that is there. More cops for the poor tho. Almost like there’s a class character to the state!
Buffalo was also the launching pad for Starbucks Workers United, and now union Starbucks workers are helping Tesla workers launch their union with @united_tesla

“We really care about having an equitable food system and caring for our community. I think that the top way we can do that is to ensure that the farmers market managers who are running these farmer’s markets are knowledgeable, professional people who love their job.”
TODAY: We'll be on WPFW 89.3FM this afternoon talking about how we won our union at FRESHFARM!

Congratulations to @FRESHFARMDC workers on winning their union! We are lucky to have several FRESHFARM Farmers Markets in #Ward4. I am grateful that the people who help bring healthy food and foster community in our Ward will now be part of a democratic workplace.
After months of hard work and organizing, we are excited to announce that we, the market workers of FRESHFARM, have voted to form a union affiliated with @ufcw400. We congratulate and thank all of our coworkers, and we look forward to negotiating our first union contract!
@latestchristian@AmericanAir What “values” does a corporation have? Exploit workers and make a profit. We can disagree with political messaging on a hat but let’s not think that corporations don’t perpetuate the same conservative views.
