@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes And despite the away form - we were still top of the league so its an irrelevant point isnt it? Dinny jump to another way of trying to justify something you cant haha. We were getting beat 2-1 at a point where we should have got a free kick.
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes The 8 mins had NOT elapsed when people entered the pitch. Thats not at his discretion. The minute that happened play needs to stop for VAR checks, just like yous had a VAR check before end of play at firpark.
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes Mate you are purposely missing the point to suit yourself - goal aside, celtic subs entered field of play IN play time - that automatically stops play. It never happened after the clock hit 8mins, it happened BEFORE the clock passed 98mins. Spin it how you want but thats facts
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes The clock doesnt "physically" stop but a minimum of 8 additional minutes must be PLAYED. its the refs job to ensure those 8 minutes are played in full. You're basically saying there was 30 seconds of active play whilst hundreds of extra bodies were on the pitch haha
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes Also btw the play should have been stopped the second the celtic subs entered the pitch before the free kick was even kicked. So based on your own interpretation of the laws, u surely must agree that play should have been stopped then no?
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes Goal celebrations are not play time, its literally in the rules that stoppage time is added on, even if in stoppage time. How did yous score in the 98th minute of 5 mins stoppage time at Firpark if thats the rules then? Which one is it?
@Clyde_Sports25@LukeBrighto74@GeorgeFoulkes Time. Can. Only. Lapse. When. The. Ball. Is. In. Play.
What are you not grasping? The physical clock doesnt stop no, but added time is the 8 minutes of minimum PLAY - not just an 8 minute timer running down whether the ball is in play or not.
@Faugheen1916@johnbtwaddle@GeorgeFoulkes Ok great so next season any team that scores say 85min onwards & goed up against Celtic can just celebrate for 5/10 minutes and then jump on the pitch to end the game. Nice one buzzing for next season now π
@colinboyle12@scottdougal@mrewanmurray First game in history thats been played with fans and subs on the fucking pitch. Even though it literally contradicts their rule book. You cant confirm a normal ending of a game with fans and subs on the pitch mate, doesnt matter whos playing thats just nonsense
@Eddie101228@WingsScotland Managers dont get to decide when matches are ended. And refs certainly dont ask the managers of playing teams permission to do so - its not the Hearts managers call to make when his only concern is getting his players to safety before all hell broke loose on the pitch.
@StandForCeltic@JamTarts Humbled? Only time you beat us this season with a budget 6 times more than us. Going top of the league 5 mins before the end of the season for the first time since September humbled no one. Its easy to own a league when you're buying guaranteed dominance.
