विद्या भारती के अमृत महोत्सवी वर्ष के निमित्त नवंबर 2027 में दिल्ली में अखिल भारतीय घोष शिविर की तैयारी के लिए 27–29 सितंबर को प्रांत घोष संयोजकों (लगभग 80)की अखिल भारतीय बैठक आयोजित की गई।

PG DAV College परिसर में आयोजित समारोह में सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर और विद्या मंदिर के छात्रों ने सुर-ताल और लय के साथ राष्ट्रगीत ‘वंदे मातरम’ का सामूहिक गायन किया। इस दौरान पूरा माहौल देशभक्ति और उत्साह से सराबोर नजर आया।

Deeply saddened by the passing of Shri A. Balakrishnan Ji, All India President of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.

After serving 16 years in the Indian Air Force, he left service in 1973 to become a Jeevanvrati in the first batch of Vivekananda Kendra, trained by founder Shri Eknath Ranade Ji himself.

He strengthened the Kendra's nation-building mission. His monumental contributions — organizing the 22,000 km journey from Kolkata to Kanyakumari, and pioneering Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas in Arunachal Pradesh in 1977 that brought education to remote border areas, will continue to inspire generations.

He devoted more than five decades of his life to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and to the service of the nation.

Our heartfelt Shradhanjali. May his soul attain sadgati.
