I’m convinced that you can get pretty far in life by just finishing things. The world is full of half-written books, half-built businesses, and half-kept promises. You stand out by showing up. By closing loops. By doing what you said you’d do. By having the courage to finish.
Buying content is not "spoiling" us or "blessing" us. You are paying for a product then we are providing that product.
You're just buying from us, no need to church it up.
Spoiling would be sending extra or buying a gift outside of the original cost.
I have gigantic fucking problem with anyone trying to tell me what to do or who i am and who I’m not. It actually triggers a viciousness in me. My identity is defined only by me and the choices that i make, nothing and no one else.
My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
i can't afford to bring my girls to a world cup game. yet all these fans from 3rd world countries are flying over, staying in jacked up priced hotels, and then spending $5k per ticket. are we all being told lies? is america poor af or is it just me?
HOT TAKE: Boys aren't raised to be men. They're raised to not be girls. That's the root of so much misogyny. Society doesn't teach boys empathy, emotional honesty, or respect for women as equals, it teaches them to suppress vulnerability, dominate, and fear anything "feminine." They're rewarded for aggression and punished for kindness. And when adulthood hits, these habits don't just vanish, they manifest as entitlement, objectification, and sexism.
