Miller’s role has been so good for the last couple of weeks since he ramped up, but he had not been taking advantage of it with some poor play. He then had a huge breakout game last time out with a 29/3/4 stat line (36 PRAs). His PRA line was set at 24.5 before that game so I am a little big surprised to only see it bump one here tonight.

Over the last six games Miller is averaging a huge 36.4 minutes, and putting up 28.3 PRAs, despite shooting just 40% from the field. He covered this in 3 of those 6, but the misses came against Orlando (on the road, 4th ranked defense), Bucks (shot 5-17), and Cavs (on the road, had 24 PRAs and shot 6-20).

The tracking stats are all great, with 3.9 minutes of touch time, a team high 41 front court touches and 7.7 potential assists per game.

Miller does most of his damage from above the break, scoring 62% of his points there, and just 19% of his points at the rim. This suits nicely against the Pistons who have the 4th ranked rim defense but are 21st in above the break defense.

It’s a while ago now, but it’s worth noting he averaged 26/5/3 per 36 in the pre season.
He has also been much better at home with 19/5/5 vs 15/3.5/3 on the road.
