Many Bodas operate like the law here in Uganda is a suggestion to them, but I’ve looked into the future & I can tell you they are about to meet their equal in mad men.
By the time we are called to their aid, they’ll have learnt discipline, order and laws are worth their weight
While at MAK, a student was mob killed by other students in Nkrumah hall for ‘looking like a thief’. Now the twist of the story flipped for one particular guy I knew when he ‘felt thankful’ and took it to Twitter and said “we have killed another thief. We Nkrumah Guard Brigade Dont joke with thieves…”
He became the prime suspect and he was taken into coolers to name everyone who participated in that vice. He didn’t complete that year because of that rural Urban excitement.
Mob justice may feel sweet until they single you out bruv
@kasujja@mkainerugaba Great attempt ladit. The correct Spelling though in Acholi also spelt Acoli originally is Apwoyo. You spelt it as you heard it which is interesting. Others have written it as Afoyo.
Missing the intensity of the Climate change negotiations at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change Subsidiary Bodies meetings taking place in Bonn Germany. I wish everyone involved success and see you soon as we build momentum to COP31.
It is indeed tough for him, but what other option does he have?
Your little boy grows into a young man, becomes successful, and rises to the highest levels of his country a true rising star with a bright future ahead of him. Bod- Bodas lynch him without evidence.

Immensely proud of Sydney's dad. Despite the huge family loss, he has explained circumstances relating to death well. The clarity of thought, articulation of expression & firmness of emotion will preserve a decent record
That old generation of Ugandans is decent & well-schooled.
We have made some arrests in respect to this wanton act.
More will be made to bring all the perpetrators to book.
A detailed statement will be issued in due course.
Asante, Afande Rusoke @mkituuma
Such barbaric acts should have no place in our society!
As the rugby fraternity, we are counting on you and your team to have all those responsible for this gruesome murder apprehended and brought to book!
@Tom_Magambo@AKasingye@OgwangOgwang
If you took part in, recorded, cheered on and/or are an accomplice to this mob action, I advise you to turn yourself in at the Kira road police station and volunteer all the information you have 🙏🏽
KIND REQUEST🙏🏾
Whoever has any video frames of the rugby guy being beaten, kindly share them via the email in my bio or my DMs. I am trying to analyze them frame by frame and maybe try to identify some faces!
Kindly retweet for awareness!
A national rugby player, an alumnus of Namilyango and King’s College Budo, an engineering student & was on his way to drop his sister at school was lynched by boda boda who accused him of stealing a bag. Come on Uganda, we need a Public hearing of this one too #RipSydney
Two young men. Two different paths. Both ending in the same unbearable way in the hands of a crowd that chose violence over restraint. These were not distant statistics. These were sons, fathers, students, believers people with names, families, and futures. #RipSydney
From Tegu to Sydney
It feels like we are losing people we should never be losing and in the most painful way.
Sydney was not just another name in the news. He was a national rugby player, a proud son of the Gishu, and a young father to a one-year-old boy. #RIPSydney
