Idris has sent me his first year semester 1 print out. He is already at 4.74 GPA.
This boy is the only person attending university is his large family in Kogi.
He is from a very poor background but it never stopped him a bit. He self taught himself and also supported others around him.
He scored above 300 in JAMB but couldn’t afford to get into university because of lack of funds.
This was when I got interested in him. He has an excellent behavior and very strong drive to succeed.
He will liberate his entire generation through the education he is acquiring.
Education is not a scam. It is a worthy investment.
The South East is making a choice.
We will double down on eliminating illiteracy.
Every child who cannot read, write and reason represents lost potential for our economy, our security and our future.
We are studying the education systems that consistently produce some of the world’s strongest learning outcomes, including Singapore and China.
We are no longer educating children just to survive.
We are educating them to compete globally and lead.
That is the future we are building.
Just look at Master Chisom Unachukwu.
It’s rewarding to be a teacher.
He said the dream he couldn’t achieve as a student, he is now achieving it as a teacher.
Over 30,000 children have already registered for the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad.
We will be unlocking a new set of exceptional students and teachers.
They all need our support to reach the heights of their greatness.
Education equals prosperity.

Are people aware that Alex Onyia once took up a case against a school in the South West?
Instead of supporting the effort, some people relentlessly attacked him here!
Calling him names, in fact there is a popular account here with the school name calling him tribal slurs.
It eventually got to the point where those opposing the case influenced the very people he was trying to help, leading them to publicly reject and withdraw from the case, forcing him to step back.
That didn’t stop him.
Alex Onyia has consistently called out corruption in universities across the South East. He even took on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), publicly challenging the institution over its poor infrastructure and conditions.
Beyond speaking out, he created a platform where students can report corrupt lecturers in universities across the region. That initiative has contributed to significant reforms in tertiary institutions in Abia, Anambra, and Enugu.
Whether people agree with him on every issue or not, it’s difficult to deny that he has consistently used his platform to challenge problems in the education sector and he’s right about situating his work in South East.
The idea that if you want to go international or public acceptance then you need to include beyond South East, is an expired narrative that no longer holds water.
