@HoCStaffer I was on another Ottawa area riding volunteering, and heard Carleton was in need of volunteers - people laughed at it like it was a joke “why would we send people to the Leaders riding Carleton, safe, when we can try and win X riding”. No one listened to those asking for help.

@PringleJosh Also less flexibility. Maybe most weeks we only have one bag to go to the curb, then on spring cleaning day we have 3 or 4. Will have to either hold bags of garbage for a month to dispose the max 2 per week, vs city plan we can use 3 tags in one week.

@ctvottawa Management failure. They know it doesn’t run in freezing rain, they should have had busses instead from the start. Not subject passengers to that ! At 31wks pregnant I stayed home today because I knew I couldn’t rely on OC to get me to work.

@PringleJosh If it’s not reliable in freezing rain it should be shut before incident. Not putting passengers through that because of a decision failure everyone knew would happen… {signed a 31 wk pregnant woman, public transit user, who stayed home today for safety, knowing the weather}

@meghan_hurley There’s a version of this recipe with the same ingredients, but swap with sausage (out of their casings and crumbled), and toss in spinach, a little chicken broth & served over pasta. We do the marry me chicken one night, and another night do this to use up the ingredients 🤤

@EatThisTownOtt One of the best restaurants in Ottawa. They buy from local farmers, and make everything from scratch that they can. Also they are amazing owners who take such good care of their employees. Not just great food, but an overall great business!

@kathleenogrady IMO- Basic chores should be done to teach good habits, not tied to financial incentive. If they are a teen they are of age to earn money by shovelling neighbours driveways, mowing their lawns, painting and so forth.

@shiftms “Pregnancy puts you in to MS remission” < nope, not for everyone! My first ever MS attack was at 6 weeks pregnant (diagnosed at 9 wks). At 22 weeks and things are no better! Spent 10 weeks waiting for that magical relief. Here to say, not for everyone 😂

@PringleJosh Wish they’d focus on fixing their broken house before spending money they dont have on a Tesla.
It won’t improve ridership #s. I’m not going to take an EV bus if I still don’t trust the bus will show up or get me to my destination in under 90 minutes.
