I started coding when I was 28.
I went from freelancing, to working in a small startup, then to a giant company and finally ended up moving across the world to work at one of the biggest travel companies in tech.
Dedication and passion, that's all you need.

Learning Go for fun.
Decided to write a simple bittorrent client from scratch to learn the language and the protocol.
Bencode parser + first time using Go = I wanna die
But it works!🥲🥲
Now comes the fun part
I'm also testing Llama 2 with very promising results!
GPT-4 is good but pretty expensive.
I'll finish the landing page and get some users before doing anything else. Or I'll try to get some users!

Update!
✅Multi-file upload is now supported
✅Download as CSV!
✅Loading indicator
At the moment uploading sequentially due to the low-spec API server. But good enough for now!
Tried GPT-3.5 but I'll stick with GPT-4 for now, much better results.

I think it's a pretty cool tool to minimize data entry jobs.
Go from spending hours parsing PDFs and putting data in a spreadsheet to doing it in seconds!
🚀🚀🚀
My app is working!
Turn your PDFs into a table in an instant!
Example: You have a bunch of CVs you need to get in an Excel:
1⃣ Create a table with the columns you need
2⃣Upload your PDFs in batch
3⃣Download a CSV with all the data extracted
4⃣+ free time
#buildinpublic#indiedev
Not only can it extract data that are explicitly there, such as:
✅Names
✅Invoice numbers
✅Dates
It can also extract contextual data such as:
✅Candidate knows about Databases => Because the text mentions the candidate knows MongoDB and MySQL.
I “jailbroke” a Google Nest Mini so that you can run your own LLM’s, agents and voice models.
Here’s a demo using it to manage all my messages (with help from @onbeeper)
🔊 on, and wait for surprise guest!
I thought hard about how to best tackle this and why, see 🧵
"Venture investing is the answer to the question of what would happen if you staffed a bank's loan department with adrenaline junkies."
This is an amazing read.

@hugoomdra@audiencon@vuejs@Firebase How does nextjs work for a backend? I get it for a backend for front end, but for an actual service… can’t see myself building an API with it
