Canada is funny. It arrested truckers for just protesting against the vaccine, harassed their family members and tried to destroy their lives. But actual terrorists can be perfectly safe and happy in their country, and plan terrorist activity against India.

I don't think Sikhs care about Khalistan any more and they are simply the most patriotic people to India that I've ever known. Some fringe elements in canada live in the 70s and 80s in their head, so there's a lot of drama. Officially of course India shouldn't do things like killing people, but would I be surprised if Dawood, or the lashkar chiefs die mysteriously and India is blamed? Probably not. Perhaps ripe to say this on a day we revere the removing of obstacles.

Fake screenshots and fake videos are part of an ecosystem. #Finfluencers use them to get followers, sell 'education courses' and launch telegram groups. People with very little money are targeted, like students. Payment is indirect. Open broking account through my link (broker gives me a cut), then join my channel (and get stock tips). Or, join my 'course' and get stock tips. The root cause is affliate links by brokers. Sebi wants to stop them, and rightly so.

We launched verified P&L at @zerodha to bring accountability, given all the fake P&L screenshots and videos shared on social media to peddle courses, advisory, trading accounts, & other financial products.

The idea was that if someone shared a screenshot or video of the P&L, the audience could demand a verified P&L link. Since the P&L is served directly from our side, there is no way to tamper with it.

By the way, a screenshot or video of the verified P&L page can still be tampered with, but there is no way to tamper with what appears when you click on the verified P&L link.

Thanks to Verified by @BeSensibull, which validated any single-day P&L and then our verified P&L feature, there has been a drastic drop in the number of people sharing screenshots and videos on social media platforms. So, it has worked as intended. Hopefully, other brokers will also offer a similar service to bring accountability whenever someone makes P&L claims.

One issue we have spotted with the verified P&L page is that people are cherry-picking dates to show when they were profitable. We have now disabled the custom date range option, and anyone sharing verified P&L can select the last 30, 60, 90, 180, or 360 days.

Spoke with @vivbajaj about @Abhishekkar_ 's use of fake Mtms (now deleted from all social media) to lure people into his market tips group/copy-paste courses/affiliate programs, he has even used fake charities to lure people into his schemes targeting the most vulnerable people, making a career out of robing people with a fake persona

Really appreciate vivek's commitment to do the right thing, he has assured me that he would be reaching out to Kar to ask for his F&O retuns for the past 2 years to show his legitimacy(verifier would have to check the account personally). If i am wrong in this situation i will be IMMEDIATELY donating Rs. 2 lakh to any charity of kar's choosing

If there is the slightest amount of legitimacy in the guy, he should use this opportunity to make me look like a fool for making these staments, this will shut down all criticism once and for all. If not, im hoping all of those who have given him a platform to carry out his schemes do the right thing

If you have personally been a victim of Kar's schemes or know anyone who has, please post them all here with documentation, i will do my best to make them reach the correct people to try and get something done. If nothing else, will prevent other people from falling prey to the same thing
