Hey @SocialSecurity - huge kudos to lady at Alexandria VA ofc. After 3 HOURS on hold w/SSA, was told to call local ofc to get 1099 for late Dad. Impossible to get thru on phone so just showed up. Lady in charge is patient, kind, efficient. Don't let her be DOGEd!

A great testimonial from a social worker:
"Have you ever given a child a coat? if you give a child a coat their face lights up. This may be a child that has never had anything NEW before. They had a sibling or relative's used coat, or one from Goodwill or from the lost and found box at school. This child may not have anything that is just their own, not their own bed, clothes, shoes or anything just their own. They have been cold and without a coat. They see other kids with their new coats. They see other kids with their new backpacks at the beginning of the school year, other kids with their new shoes and new school clothes. When you give a child a coat, they know that someone took the time to notice they needed something and got it for them. This warms their little bodies, their hearts and their souls... they will never forget it. They may walk around for a few weeks without taking their new coat off. They may sleep in it, they will wear it to the rest room and they will not want to take it off. They walk around showing it off to the other kids, feeling special and proud. That smile, you will never forget it. This is what it feels like to give a child a coat. Thank you Alice's Kids for making this possible."
Recall the child who wanted fishing equipment to catch food for his family? Here's his catch! Teacher says "he now feels like he is the provider of the home. He has also started teaching his school classmates about fishing & is trying to open a fishing club in our school."
"Antonio says he has never owned something so beautiful in his life. His new bike has become his everything. He goes everywhere with it. His life has become just a little easier. He seems so proud of himself for owning a bike. We cant thank Alice Kids enough!"
@JetBlue Thank you. We have made good friends here in the boarding area. And the gal at JetBlue Customer Service (near gate C26 DCA) has been very patient with all of us.
When your email lineup is just updates on your delayed flight from DCA to BOS...it's not a good day. Definitely looking up that Passenger Bill of Rights info! @JetBlue
@Jaybeau70 Yikers! Please be a good patient and do what the Doc says. I'm supposed to be going to Aruba after Christmas. Will have to watch for slippery rocks! Be well!
