Hey @SocialSecurity - huge kudos to lady at Alexandria VA ofc. After 3 HOURS on hold w/SSA, was told to call local ofc to get 1099 for late Dad. Impossible to get thru on phone so just showed up. Lady in charge is patient, kind, efficient. Don't let her be DOGEd!

A great testimonial from a social worker:

Recall the child who wanted fishing equipment to catch food for his family? Here's his catch! Teacher says "he now feels like he is the provider of the home. He has also started teaching his school classmates about fishing & is trying to open a fishing club in our school."
