Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 40 years on every salary I received. Those jobs may not have always been the work I wanted to be doing at the time, BUT I always had a job. The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this.
I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it. The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.
Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!
Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.
Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.

Please, for the sake of our country, share this message. It's important!!!

A mother stepped in front of an armed Black male robber to protect her son…

Her name was Jean Gragg, she was 40 years old.

Her son had arranged to sell a watch on Facebook Marketplace.

The buyer came to their own home in South Bend, Indiana.

Police say that 18-year-old buyer, John Ford, pulled out a gun, said “I need it,” and tried to rip the watch out of the son’s hands.

Jean did what a mother does… she stepped BETWEEN them.

She put herself in front of the gun and chased him off her property.

Then, police say, surveillance video shows the coward turning and firing at her MULTIPLE TIMES as she turned around and ran back toward her house.

He sh0t her in the head.

He threw the gun over a fence and ran.

On Saturday, Jean Gragg sadly passed away.

He is now charged with M*RDER.

CONFLICT.

Obama-appointed Judge Christopher Cooper just ordered Trump’s name stripped from the Kennedy Center. He ruled only Congress can change the name Congress gave it in 1964. Fair enough on the statute.

But now a conservative watchdog has filed a formal judicial misconduct complaint against him. They say he should have recused. Why? His wife Amy Jeffress is a longtime Democrat lawyer who represented Lisa Page, worked with the Jan 6 committee, and currently represents Joe Biden in lawsuits against Trump’s DOJ.
They got married with Merrick Garland officiating. She doesn’t even use the Cooper name.

Trump called it out directly. The judge’s household has deep financial and professional ties to the exact side fighting Trump. Yet Cooper kept the case and ruled against the rename.

This is how trust in the courts dies. Same players, same circles, different robes.

Releasing a virus that caused a global pandemic… then deliberately terrifying the public into submission…That’s not public health. That’s crimes against humanity.

Crimes against humanity don’t get pardoned. History’s punishment for this level of evil has always been multiple life sentences.

This week these two officers did a traffic stop, during the stop of violating a red light, the driver expressed she was in a hurry to get the children in the car to school.

When the officers asked her, what school do they attend.

She could not give a good answer.
They escorted her from the car and questioned the child, simply to the eldest child, age 10, "do u know this woman?"

The 10 year old shook his head, No! at that point the driver was arrested.
It was later determined she had kidnapped the children on their way to school.

Four children ages 10 to 6 were forced into the vehicle.

These 2 officers exercised excellent police investigate skills, in doing so they were able to take a kidnapper of the streets, and safeguard the 4 children from any hurt, harm and danger.

Sometimes, a small act of kindness can really brighten someone’s day. One Saturday afternoon, Officer Cameron Tucker from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department and his wife, Justine, were having dinner at Zaxby’s restaurant in Deland, Florida. It was just an ordinary day, until a young man named Juan, an African American college student, approached them.

Juan asked if he could pray for Cameron to keep him safe in his dangerous job. Cameron and Justine were surprised but welcomed the offer. Juan then placed his hand on Cameron’s shoulder and prayed for his protection. Justine shared the moment on her Facebook page, saying: “After crying my eyes out, we got to have an amazing conversation with this gentleman. He was on fire for God, and you could feel His presence in the room. He said he felt compelled to pray over Cameron.”

Juan is a football player at Stetson University in Deland and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He graduated high school with honors. The photo Justine took of Juan praying for Cameron has been shared over 25,000 times, with many people commenting. Juan’s grandmother, Berta O’Neil, was so proud of him for his kind act.

Since then, Juan and Cameron have kept in touch regularly.

At approximately 3:00 p.m., an unarmed protester is struck directly in the face by what has been described as a 40mm concussion munition, suffering devastating injuries to his lips, teeth, and jaw. According to former SWAT supervisor and police use-of-force expert Steven Hill, the incident represents a clear example of excessive force and gross negligence.

I was there.

I watched peaceful Americans get blasted with munitions, choked with chemical agents, beaten, and treated like enemy combatants. For years, the public has been fed a one-sided narrative while countless examples of violence against January 6 protesters have been ignored or buried.

The truth is uncomfortable: government force is still force, and when it's used recklessly against unarmed citizens, it deserves scrutiny and accountability.
