Slowly adjusting to life without being a newspaper editor as my time with #gannett came to an end Friday with the #gannettlayoffs
Thankful for everything I learned and the people I met.
Brighter days are ahead🌟
Gannett friends: so sorry for what you're going through today ❤️ If you're looking for a new gig, we have lots of great openings at @theadvocatebr/ @NOLAnews! We're looking for capitol reporters in BR, criminal justice reporters in Nola, editors & more https://t.co/kmKyFannbG
I, along with my @Gannett union colleagues, will not attend today's town hall with our CEO Mike Reed. We call ourselves #TeamGannett, yet Reed continues to earn millions while staff earning a fraction of that face layoffs. Does that sound like a team effort? #AnswerUsMike
Just sent out the first note to those who were impacted by #GannettLayoffs with a guide to accessing all the help we've collected.
An important note: If you report you were laid off, your information will be kept private.
DM me if you need the form to request aid.
Finnnallly got to meet my perfect Wilder man. So lucky my people keep making perfect little version of themselves♥️ can’t wait to teach you all about Democrats, Wilder Jake. @ DeRidder, Louisiana https://t.co/PyUqpWPUhq
Schooled my 3 year old nephew in duck racing today; not proud of myself, but had fun (me not Ben). Sorry Bennie, at least you got to ride a horse. @ CM Farms https://t.co/dsUpUnGvb3
