Julia raises an issue here that, as a writer on activism (https://t.co/tHv8UTV0WQ or https://t.co/tpmvFgs4jz) deeply vexes me. I’ve felt that 9/11 was a turning point. The old ways no longer work with the same effect. We must be deeper and more creative. Follow her thread down.
Radical Community Wealth Building doesn’t happen overnight and this project is tentatively incorporating all five key principles.

Is your school and or nursery at risk or being mothballed? Do you know anyone else who is being affected by the practice of mothballing? Please get in touch so that we can provide support and fight together to end this closure by stealth practice!
Are you listening @Aberdeenshire ?
Mothballing is closure by the backdoor. There are safeguards in place for closing schools. These safeguards are there for a reason and should not be circumvented.
Mothballing destroys communities. Small rural schools matter.
