@mariannefavro They won’t even use any of this money to improve the traffic just to get into this mall. Mall management has never cared about the employees of the mall. We have had to deal with grab and runs, threats of mass shootings and covid out breaks. Can we recall Sue.

@mariannefavro This is terrible and the mall has had years to figure out the parking issues. It still takes forever to get in or out of the parking garages and they want employees to park on the third floor which we can’t even get to because the traffic is so bad.

@scottbudman @Adobe I work at the mall and this Black Friday had more security but the smaller stores were still getting hit by thieves. It’s just terrible that they only help with the high end stores.

@nbcbayarea It’s not safe to get a hair cut but groups of people from different households can still go to the mall. You need to get the governor into a mall in the big cities and tell me that’s safe. Young adults hanging out with friends in the mall is nonessential.

@HealthySCC I work in a very large mall and still can’t believe how many are shopping today like there isn’t a stay at home order. People are out with different households all hanging out at the mall. This is nonessential. I need my job but also want this under control.

@scottbudman @HealthySCC And yet these still leave these malls open. Since Black Friday these malls have been filled with familes and young kids hanging out. I see people still not following guidelines and it’s just sucks. Just close it all down for a month and let’s slow it down.

They haven’t since this order started because retail is still open and families keep coming to the mall for nonessential shopping. All we are helping is big box corporations. Close them all for at least two weeks so this can slow down.

@CAgovernor @GavinNewsom I hope he’s going to close all non essential retail like malls so people stay home! I work in a mall and people are going out with their kids, aunts, uncles, friends. It’s insane to me and still planning NYE parties. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@nbcbayarea Numbers are increasing because all these nonessential big box retail stores are allowed to stay open while small business like hair salons are forced to close. Where are the health inspectors to make sure these malls are following the rules?
