@ceraymond @KatieMiller We live in a sunny place and have solar panels and a heat pump. They produce 35% of our energy needs, which is great for us personally but not sure of the overall benefit to the planet or economy, for the reasons you mention. And not forgetting how they are disposed of once old.

@qatarairways We are all sorted now thanks. We have had our refunds. The bad part for us is that our flights have ended up costing us 3x the original (but still less than business class!). We also have to go via Chengdu to get home. 🙄

@qatarairways It is now showing as cancelled, so I have requested a refund and booked. We are now paying double and having to go via China!

@qatarairways we are due to travel to Bangkok today via Doha from Malaga. The flights are cancelled but the refund I am being offered is much less than I paid. Why is that?
