Why do journalists allow politicians to get away with talking about covid in the past tense when the ONS have recently reported that the number of people with long covid is INCREASING!?

Around 2M people now have long covid in England and Scotland.

How can @NHSEngland justify paying a PA with a fraction of the expertise and training of a doctor £30k more?

Tell me why any doctor should stay in the NHS when they are undermined like this.
