How to make #longcovid cases go down🧵
1. Never mention LC, so many people dont know it exists. A new diagnosis- why would that possibly be due to Covid?
2. Convince people that vaccines will protect against any LC that does exist - now those new symptoms can't possibly be LC
WARNING: Surgical masks do not protect you from an airborne pathogen!
Meningitus B can be carried on exhaled aerosol. Meaning if you want any protection, wear a respirator. If you are in Kent, mask up PROPERLY, and protect yourself (and others)!!
@BBCNews
@PrognosticChats Sorry to bother, but I can't DM. We're building a whatsapp group for covid conscious HCW in the UK so we can get a bit of community going in this madness. Let me know if you'd like the link!
These cancers aren’t following any predictable pattern—because this isn’t normal. We’re six years into this, and the common denominator keeps pointing back to Covid. Kids should never be having strokes. Teens shouldn’t be collapsing from heart attacks. And we shouldn’t be forced to start screening for colon cancer 15 years earlier.
Something has changed—drastically—and it’s time we stop pretending otherwise. 😡
I want everyone in public health from the old guard, to read, weep, and move on.
You’re wrong. We were right.
NOW DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT AIRBORNE PATHOGENS!
Yes, even babies can develop Long Covid.
Study 1,000+ children < 6 yrs:
-Infants & toddlers trouble sleeping, fussiness, poor appetite, stuffy nose, & cough
-Preschoolers dry cough & low energy or daytime sleepiness
~1 in 7 infected met criteria for LC

Doctors: we've accepted too many myths about Covid.
My presentation explains why - and gives you the science you're missing.

Anyone who thinks for themselves and who reads any of the scientific papers on what SARS2 does to the human body, IS wearing a respirator in enclosed shared spaces.
Which, looking around, suggests very few people think for themselves or read any scientific papers.
Why the UK decision not to suppress Covid led to tens of thousands of avoidable deaths and raises questions about medical and scientific advice. My analysis in the BMJ. https://t.co/FsAKPeWJVA
A lot of people have noticed it. In the past few years, a bunch of different infections in England have started moving together.
Spikes, dips, rising and falling in sync.
I've watched the pattern get worse and worse over the last four years.
It's astonishing.
Someone gets admitted with a heart attack or breathlessness, and the thing that has caused it is their covid infection.
AND THE STAFF DON'T TEST FOR IT.

It’s still so weird to me that people are traumatized by the EVENT that “was” COVID, not the DEADLY VIRUS that *is* COVID.
When they say “during COVID” they mean “during lockdown.” - for them it was never about the virus, just the scary shift in their familiar day to day life.
Really comprehensive new article from the @TheWHN with just about everything you need to know about current pandemic! Plus aimed specifically at those in the UK:

The biggest trick they successfully pulled was convincing people that because the initial infection was sometimes mild they wouldn't get serious long term health problems from it.
Sick of all these politicians being praised for fighting cuts to disability benefits whilst never using their positions to fight the ongoing pandemic that's also harming disabled people (and creating many more!)
They don't care about our lives. They care about looking good.
Instead of a minute of silence what about six hours of screaming?
THE PANDEMIC ISN’T OVER
BRING BACK INFECTION CONTROL IN HEALTHCARE
EVERYONE WILL END UP WITH LONG COVID (OR DEAD) IF THIS PRETENCE CONTINUES
COVID hasn’t gone away. Almost 250,000 died in the UK, perhaps 10x more had / have long COVID. Too many lasting scars; grief, anger & determination to learn not forget. A privilege to walk with bereaved families. It cannot be right that we STILL fail to protect staff & patients?
