@beckytLCFC Been like that most of the season, I know our full backs are suspect, but Abdul and Stephy have been woeful defensively and a lot of goals conceded from areas they should be in, let alone the lack of firepower upfront.
Failing team, excessive player contracts, and ridiculous financial problems - how about we promote the Sporting Director AND the Finance Director?! ๐คฏ #lcfc everyone ๐คฃ
We can today announce an evolved senior leadership structure designed to provide clarity of responsibility, strengthen governance and support our long-term development both on and off the pitch.
@Ashleypp1986 Mate itโs worse than that, the ceo is a promotion of the current finance director - I mean itโs not like we have any financial problems is it?!
@Ashleypp1986 Should be fit, but some of them can only run for 60 minutes! Not sure whatโs going on at the elite performance centre up there in Seagrave?!
@WattyWatto Heโs clearly turned into a one trick pony upfront, which pays off now and again, but heโs killing us with his zero effort defending isnโt he.
The last thing our club needs right now is infighting between the fan base ๐
The clubs in dire straits atm & us guys squabbling against each other wonโt help! In situations like this, Iโve always found it best to come together on what we all do agree on-which is the club canโt continue operating in the way it is, if it does I canโt see it being in existence for much longer ๐.
Weโre divided because thereโs a split with the thinking how that will be best achieved. My thoughts havenโt changed in the fact I think new ownership is the best option to guide us in a new direction with fresh ideas, energy, enthusiasm and away from this incredible multilayered mess we find ourselves in.
However, all I want is the club to be stable and an enjoyable place to experience again, (doesnโt have to be titles & trophies, although thatโd be nice!) players, managers & coaches that are proud to represent our club ๐๐พ๐ฆ! With leadership that is consistent, strong and has a clear vision for the future, that we can all buy into.
I am incredibly thankful and full of gratitude for what King Power have done for our club over the years, Vichai delivered those qualities Iโve spoken about above and Top doesnโt seem to possess the same high level of leadership needed to deliver similar results.
Which is understandable, Vichai and leaders of that calibre are rarities, hence the reason they can build global businesses or deliver Premier League titles to football clubs like ours. But Top needs to put his Ego to the side and accept heโs not his father (which is totally okay ๐) and surround himself with people who possess the skills he lacks.
If he can do that, which is a huge โifโ I for one will be happy for the King Power group to remain and try and turn this dreadful situation around. Iโm a very emotional guy (and can often lose my head on the radio), but I didnโt mean any disrespect or ungratefulness towards King Power after the last game at the KP. I love the club from when I was a little kid, it means everything to me, like it does for so many of the LCFC fan base and when it feels it could be slipping-not just down the leagues but out of existence- we have to fight for it and protect it ๐๐พ
But please people, not against each other ๐. We should be united as a fanbase and use that power of togetherness to influence the changes that will help our club thrive again! I donโt think we need to be divided about โWho?โ can deliver us that, more the โHow!โ All I know is, we need action from the club and it needs to be quickly because not doing anything will only make things much worse!
So Khun Top, If youโre keeping it, itโs time to show strength in your leadership and either lead now or delegate to others with the wisdom, experience and enthusiasm to move us past this mess, inaction at this point is just NOT an option!
Personally, Iโd like to see a small carefully selected fan group of well โbalancedโ individuals that have the โClubsโ best interest at heart (people who donโt just argue for arguments sake or boo/hiss at opposing views), empathetic, respectful, but also tough characters that will hold the club to account if /when needed, who work with the club at the highest level to bring about change in a positive way. I really like the 50+1 rule the Bundesliga operates with its clubs in Germany!
Anyway, Iโm ranting now, which I didnโt want to do ๐ฉ All I know is, I love the club and I donโt want to just sit back and see it slide out of existence. ๐
The #lcfc manager search has now stretched to 22 days since Martรญ Cifuentes sacking on January 25โthe longest under King Power ownershipโmatching a previous record when Nigel Pearson replaced Sven-Goran Eriksson. Andy King has overseen the most interim games in nearly 20 years..
@lee1978lcfc Itโs simple, weโre an attractive club with fantastic recent history and facilities, but weโre definitely not an attractive business! I donโt know how the company is structured, but it would probably be better for KP to write us off than it would be to sell at a loss...
A very interesting and worrying assessment of our situation, which basically says League One would be the last nail in the coffin, KP canโt afford to keep us - but no-one would want to buy us. So itโs basically stay up or go bust! ๐ญ #lcfc
