I truly believe we are being pit against each other with these bike lanes. There is no clear regulation and the bikes think they have the right of way before pedestrians. I ride a bike in Europe so I’m not anti-bike but I see these issues in every major city and people are getting seriously hurt.

I know France gets beat up a little around here but our elections here are run like a Swiss Army watch. We had a big municipal election a few months ago and was in awe at the organization, the double-cross referencing voter identification, and the volunteers from all parties welcomed to watch and/or count the physical counting of paper ballots where we got the results hours later. I also noticed how quiet the whole thing was.
