What matters more to us – that we successfully put others in their place, or that we are known to love well? That we win culture wars with carefully constructed arguments and power plays, or that we win hearts with humility, truth, and love?
May it be the latter!
“We draw people to Christ not by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it.”

Our pastor preached from Ezekiel 36 yesterday and I can never be within 5 chapters of 37 without reading it. Thought I’d read the first 14 verses to anybody who could use it this morning. Anybody feeling lifeless. Forgotten. Broken apart.
“Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.”
You can only stay bitter toward someone if you feel superior, if you feel that you would never do anything like they did. Those who won’t forgive show they have not accepted the fact of their own sinfulness.
I’m right there with you ! I thought I’d couldn’t live through a storm 3 years ago, don’t sleep though a night for over a year. God has been my rock, my counselor, the one who heard my cries and showered me with unconditional love to carry me through one day at a time 🙏🏼💗🙏🏼
I can feel my insides healing up a bit. Life going on. So grateful to God. You think certain stuff will kill you then you just keep waking up to just enough manna to make it another day. And one day down the road a few years later, you realize you may be okay. He held you tight.
