Showerbox is an amazing initiative to provide showers to people sleeping rough in London. A donation in someone's name would make a great and meaningful last-minute gift:

If one were to swing, say, a bag or scarf on the other side of the gates in the loos on Regent's Park Broad Walk, it would activate the exit sensor and cause the gates to open. Wild. Please don't share.
(this gate is also now contactless only so unless you have a contactless card or smartphone, you couldn't pay to use these loos even if you wanted to.)

We hope to be back on sending out loo codes again soon. In the meantime, we're thinking about how we can push for public loo provision, and about places like Regent's Park that are charging for their loos, and will post an update soon. Thank you for your patience and support.

Please read this, itβs absolutely essential. Public toilets have been disappearing for decades, but faster than ever under austerity, and itβs both humiliating and hugely limiting for invisible disabilities
For obvious reasons our project of pushing for vital improvements to public toilet access has had to be put on ice β but we're still here, and will have a lot to say when the world begins to reopen. In the meantime, stay home if you can, and solidarity with all workers who can't.
