@willnorman While great news they don't seem enough to barely scratch the surface. Here in outer boroughs (see Enfield) we are full of 30mph streets that everyone drives at 40 to the next traffic light but you have to walk for miles to find a crossing. Not even for schools.

@allpartycycling I can't find UK stats, but in the EU there is a steady growth of the bicycle market the past few years. And if you count e-bikes (which would steal sales of standard bikes) that growth becomes significant. Also, direct/online sales are getting a share of the bike shop.

@RoadmanCycling I would stop working and go for cycling holidays. Then more holidays to visit family and cycle and then even more. I don't care about stuff much and I am super happy with my current bikes. I just want more time to ride them.

@old_school_alps It depends on what you are doing in general. If you consistently wear a mask when mingling with people, continue doing the same. If you generally don't wear a mask, the aeroplane does not have a particular population group and it had better ventilation than lots of usual places.

@_dmoser @ohshidt It only demonstrates that most drivers are not fit to drive. Many thousands times per year there is a pedestrian or another vulnerable road user in the place of the tram and it ends in tragedy.

@RantyHighwayman I struggle to interpret this. Looks like data collected from answering "how do you move daily". Those car and walking trips seem to represent rather a different type of journey than the tube and rail (e.g. local shops vs somewhere far). But the trends are very interesting.

Popped over to next-door #BoundsGreenLTN to see how Myddleton Rd 'graveyard' was doing. Christmas fair in full swing, with local shops, cafes & stalls doing a roaring trade. Looks like people managed to get here despite LTN 'barriers'.Could it be shoppers prefer it without 🚗🚙?

@LondonTrafficW1 I am very suspicious about the innocence of all those horror stories. I am driving for 30 years and one or two new giant cubes popping up the road alongside new signs and markings is impossible to miss. More so if it's on a usual route. Seriously, if in doubt, don't risk.
