@newstart_2024 Interesting. I’ve personally observed a kid who had severe ADHD k-3rd grade. Then his parents took him out of school and homeschooled him for two years. When he returned in 6th grade, he was a different kid. He no longer screamed with loud noise or struggled academically.

@SteveHiltonx Ps. I think the $100k tax free idea is great. But no one wants to pay any taxes when so much of it is going to fraudulent purposes. It would also increase California’s GDP… maybe up to trillions of dollars.

@SteveHiltonx Can you please form a fraud coalition that goes hard after all the fraud occurring in California? Maybe make the stats live on a website as well as the penalties enacted to warn as a deterrent to others? And maybe even form a registry where fraudsters have to register?

@GigaBasedDad I think older moms with younger children stay more active physically than their counterparts with older children, they have more incentives to stay healthy into their later years with young children in the house, and it keeps them out of destructive habits.

@LowlMusic @WallStreetApes When the principal balance is really high, and the interest rate is high, the loan increases like crazy. On my loans this year, I had to pay over $7,000 just for interest. If I don’t pay at least that amount, the loan increases. So year after year, the loan can keep going up.

@mattvanswol So everything became very expensive as businesses dealing with minimum wage increases raise prices, hire less help, package things smaller, etc. It’s a snowball effect.

@mattvanswol In California, minimum wage increased from $11.00 per hour in 2018 all the way to $16.50 currently in 2025. So the cost of everything has drastically risen eroding the middle class’s wages (since their wages have not kept up with inflation).
