One of the biggest lessons one can draw from @nelsonchamisa's UK tour is that social media is overrated.

There is a huge gap between social media & brick & mortar footprints.

Chamisa is clearly a collosus on the ground. Many were desperately yearning to reconnect with him!

I witnessed an outpouring of genuine affection & love.

There was a touching moment, a very raw one for me when a woman in her 60s & her friend made an impassioned plea to Chamisa before going on to shed tears!

During @nelsonchamisa listening tour in the UK I had the privledge of attending 3 events out of the 4. I sincerely hope that this marks how he will continent engage citizens in the future especially the diaspora…,

During the CAB3 consultations I mentioned that Diaspora were left out of the public consultations which in my view is a violation of the constitution that speaks to ALL citizens being given the opportunity to participate ( we are still
Looking at what avenues we can utilise to raise this appropriately)

What @nelsonchamisa tour has proven (which was done in less than week is that)
1) Diaspora citizens are very much interested in being engaged with what’s happening at home
2) engaging the diaspora is a matter of willingness it’s not that difficult
3) diaspora are indeed a force to be reckon with that should not be ignored and only remembers when it comes to remittances .
4) when diaspora rises it’s going to be game over for the oppressor
5) and ofcourse President @nelsonchamisa remains the people’s president at home and abroad …..

To those who were there, it was a privilege. @nelsonchamisa set out in granular detail his ideology & the road map towards recalibrating the Zimbabwean political capsule.

This will be laid out uninhibited this weekend. We are talking about reconnection, re-engagement, re-energisation & reinvigoration.

It was a historic moment. There was raw emotion, vulnerability, retracing of footsteps, poignancy, clarity, reassurance & reaffirmation in the pursuit of generational goals!

POLITICALLY MOTIVATED MURDER.. It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of a Citizen Volunteer, Kelvin Bhonzo (41) of Chitungwiza North, Ward 25, who died yesterday 26 July 2026 after weeks in hospital following a politically motivated attack on 14 June 2026. Political violence in Zimbabwe is an unacceptable scourge that must be stopped.

According to reports, he was attacked on 14 June 2026 while returning home from Makoni Shopping Centre, where he had been watching football. It is alleged that the attackers, identified by witnesses as ZPF supporters, assaulted him with machetes and bricks, accusing him of supporting the rejection of CAB 3.
He was initially admitted to Chitungwiza Hospital before being transferred to Citimed Hospital forfurther treatment. Despite weeks of medical care, he sadly succumbed to his injuries on 26 July 2026.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all citizens mourning this tragic loss.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. RIP Citizens Hero!
